Signia MaX

Signia MaX is the company's newest AI hearing aid platform, running four dedicated neural networks that work together to follow speech, noise, your surroundings, and your own voice all at once.

MaX

Signia MaX

The Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX is the first hearing aid built on Signia's new MaX platform, short for Multi-adaptive Xperience. Instead of using artificial intelligence for a single job like reducing noise, MaX uses four task-specific Deep Neural Networks that work together to analyze speech, noise, your surroundings, and your own voice at the same time. The goal is to keep you connected to the people you want to hear while preserving your awareness of the world around you, especially in busy group conversations where hearing aids have traditionally struggled.

Acoustic Intelligence: Four AI Systems Working Together

Signia calls this coordinated approach Acoustic Intelligence, and it is what sets MaX apart from hearing aids that use AI for one task alone.

A Deep Neural Network, or DNN, is a form of AI trained to recognize patterns, here the patterns of speech, noise, and different environments. MaX runs four of them continuously and lets them share information, giving a more complete picture of your surroundings before processing sound:

  • RealTime Conversation Enhancement AI locates and enhances multiple conversation partners in dynamic group settings, processing 75% more data points per second than Signia IX.
  • Own Voice Processing AI makes your own voice sound natural, working immediately without the in-clinic calibration earlier models required.
  • Ambient Scene Adaptation AI continuously analyzes your environment and adapts as conditions change.
  • Dynamic Noise Control AI evaluates the type and location of noise, and whether you are in conversation, before deciding how much to reduce it.

Built for Difficult Group Conversations

The hardest listening situation for most people is following a conversation when several people talk at once and noise comes from every direction.

MaX is designed for exactly this, analyzing the changing environment in real time and coordinating both hearing aids as the conversation moves, softening noise while keeping wanted voices in front. This reflects Signia's "Live Noisy" philosophy, the idea that background sound is not always the enemy but part of feeling present. In Signia-sponsored research, 97% of participants performed better with MaX in noisy group conversations compared with key competitors. These are manufacturer-cited results, so we treat them as promising evidence to weigh alongside independent testing and your own experience.

A More Powerful Chip and All-Day Battery

Running four neural networks at once takes real computing power, and MaX is built on a new chip designed to keep that intelligence active all day.

Compared with Signia IX, Signia reports the MaX chip delivers:

  • 54 times more processing power
  • 50% greater energy efficiency
  • Twice the memory

Signia reports up to 30 hours of battery life, though this varies with streaming and use. The Pure C&G MaX is rechargeable, comes in eight colors, and ships with a pocket-size portable charger that stores up to four extra charges. A full charge takes about four hours, and a 30-minute quick charge gives up to six hours of use.

OneConnect Technology for Broad Connectivity

MaX brings several wireless and assistive listening options together in one hearing aid through what Signia calls OneConnect Technology.

  • Bluetooth Classic for a wide range of phones and devices
  • Bluetooth LE Audio
  • Telecoil connectivity for loop systems
  • Auracast-capable hardware for emerging shared and public audio

The hardware is Auracast-capable, but Signia states full Auracast functionality will be enabled through a Signia One app firmware update by March 2027. Until then, Auracast is not yet active on the device. Actual phone features can also depend on your specific phone and operating system, which we are happy to confirm for you.

Experience Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX in St. Louis

The Pure Charge&Go MaX is worth considering if you want a premium rechargeable hearing aid and your biggest challenges involve restaurants, social events, or family gatherings with background noise. That said, the most advanced hearing aid is not automatically the right one for every person, and technology this capable only performs as well as its fitting allows.

At Greentree Hearing & Audiology, we help patients throughout St. Louis and Kirkwood match the right technology to the way they live. Our audiologist, John Scarlas, M.S., CCC-A, programs and verifies every hearing aid with real ear measurements, confirming your Signia Pure C&G MaX delivers the right amplification for your hearing loss.
