John Scarlas was born in Tampa, Florida and raised in Beckley, West Virginia. He received his Bachelor of Science from West Virginia University in 1995, and he received his Master’s degree in Audiology from Towson University in 1997. John moved to St. Louis in 1997 and has been dedicated to helping people communicate better with family and friends ever since.

Very good analysis and service for my hearing loss problems. Russ Pickett is easy to work with and very willing to discuss the pros and cons of different types of hearing aids for the patient's particular problem. My high frequency loss interferes with my birding hobby and Russ has given me a hearing aid wherein I can switch the range from normal conversation to one that reaches a lot of the higher bird calls.

Dr. Pickett helped me to finally hear again. I cannot express how grateful I am. I was taken through a very comprehensive testing process from beginning to end, and I am confident that my hearing aids are doing exactly what they're supposed to. I have been a client off Dr. Sherry Pickett for five years. She is very professional in her demeanor. I never feel rushed through my appointment. Dr. Pickett carefully answers all questions I have. There have been a couple of times when I have needed quick service for my hearing aid and have been accommodated. Tricia, who is the receptionist, is upbeat and knowledgeable. I highly recommend GreenTree Audiology.
